Have you seen the film The Warriors? Every time I hear the words Canvey Island I just think of this film. Which wasn’t set in the UK at all by the way - it was based around Coney Island in the US.

“Gotta get back to Canvey Island”…if you watch the film, you’ll never think of Canvey Island the same, lol.
