Phone Systems Down

Unfortunately over the bank holiday weekend Canvey Island has had severe drain flooding which has caused a majority of BT’s phone lines including broadband to be down. Only 2 weeks ago we purchased a new phones system enabling us to take more calls, today this has been an embarrassment to us, as our phones which are run through BT are completely dead, calling any of our telephone numbers will give you ‘this number does not exist tone’.
We are however trying to resolve the problem and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are available via email on a backup network and also we have diverted calls now to a single mobile number. (Very professional) The phones should be live again either today or tomorrow.
BT may I add have been extremely unhelpful. If you are with BT then I’m sure you know how we feel.
