New CML Logo

Impact have been working on a new identity for the Council Of Mortgage Lenders, and today we are proud to reveal the new company logo.

A spokesperson announced the new logo in their company newsletter to their members. “So why the new logo? Two reasons. First, to fit with the new clarity on our commercial products.  And second, because the world has changed, and we and our members need to change with it”

Impact were given the freedom to create a fresh identity but it needed to resemble aspects of the previous logo, so we created the logo above, incorporating the circular shape which was the basis of the previous logo, we wanted to re-position the lettering and make a more bolder statement with the CML.

The colour palette hasn’t changed dramatically, blue is still the dominant colour withing the identity. We lost the dated coins from the previous logo but were asked to keep the house / arrow symbol which incorporated exceptionally well within this design and is the main characteristic which was kept from the previous design.

Along with the new logo Impact have also created new marketing material for their commercial brand and also all their internal marketing solutions and business stationery.

New Identity For Limewood

Impact Media were asked recently to create an identity for new start up business Limewood Joinery. The directors were looking for something with zest! The logo also had to be modern and quite simplistic.

Impact are also in the process of creating their physical paper identity; their business stationery.

SMF To Get Brand Facelift

One of our clients Special Metals Fabrication recently decided it was time for a brand facelift. Their existing identity was wearing thin and inconsistent throughout the company. Impact were asked to create a new identity for the business and apply the new identity throughout the business - website, stationery, marketing and advertising.

Phase one of the project is now complete with the new logo approved, we are now cementing the website layouts for phase 2.

New Identity For Cube

A New Clean Identity For VCS LTD

We have recently completed a new company identity for cleaning company VCS.

VCS possessed no brand identity and were looking at establishing themselves locally as a professional cleaning company. Predominantly VCS are window cleaners but are already looking at expanding their brand into other areas of cleaning. We needed to create an identity which was not directly associated with window cleaning, the identity needed to be bold, distinctive and most importantly unique. Many companies who only specialise mainly in window cleaning tend not to have an identity, those who have, choose blue within their designs and use clip art images, for logos; VCS wanted something completely different.

VCS have many plans for their new identity, short term the new logo will be applied to company clothing, business stationery and other marketing material. Long term… you’ll have to wait and see.
