Impact Raising Money For Cancer Research
Friday, April 3rd, 2009 | Company News, Miscellaneous | No Comments
James at Impact Media is running (or walking) 5k to raise money for the Bobby Moore fund for Cancer Research. The event is taking place on the 5th July 2009.
Bobby Moore of course was one of the most capped England players and a West Ham favourite who died of bowel cancer in 1993. Run For Moore is an event to raise awareness of bowel cancer and most importantly raise money so that Cancer Research can help beat it.
We are looking to raise £500 to do our bit this year, to help out a needy charity. If you are reading this and want to help, great. Please follow the link at the bottom of the page.
Please donate what you can to support both Impact and Cancer Research, Although the world is in a recession, the people that are losing out the most are of course charities, who constantly rely on donations from us to operate. If you can please spare what you can to allow us to raise money for what we feel to be one of the most important charities around. All money raised directly funds research into bowel cancer, a disease diagnosed in over 36,500 people in the UK each year.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor James: Cancer Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor him now!

Impact Media F.C Win Promotion
Tuesday, March 24th, 2009 | Company News | No Comments
If you didn’t already know, Impact launched a 6 aside football team many weeks ago, and our first season is nearly at an end. Currently we stand in 2nd position 4 points behind the leaders Wickford United and 4 in front of 3rd placed Pitsea Broadway; with only one game remaining we are certain for promotion.
Not bad for a ‘kickabout’ on a Monday night. Full credit to all the team for their commitment for turning up every Monday (even in terrential rain!)
New season begins next Monday, so let’s see where we finish this time!
