Yes we cannot ignore it, Twitter is vastly becoming the social networking tool, and being online marketeers we must embrace these new online marketing techniques.

So we have a Twitter page, and we would love for you to follow our Tweets.

If you are unfamiliar with twitter, it is a new way of telling your followers details of your daily activities (similar to Facebook’s status updates). That’s pretty much it, but there is a large scope to utilise this as a business marketing tool.

We will be adding a tips page for companies who want to gain the most out of Twitter. We hope to post this shortly, in the mean time, jump onto twitter create a page and follow us at Impact!

What we’ve been up to!

We have been busy lately working on a variety of projects. Currently we are creating a new identity for Greenwich PCT’s Community Health Trainers, along with associated marketing material.

We are also working on a new property portal creating the identity and the fully functional website which should be live by the end of March.

We have a few nice potential projects lined up (let’s see if we get them) and a few pieces which we’ll show you in pictures.

First up, we are developing a website for Essex bakers Grout’s and were asked to create a libary of images for their website and future marketing, which you will see below.

We have also created a microsite for the CML’s Sponsorship Opportunity packages.

Our client Football For Fans’s website has had a design makeover. After a couple of years the growing business required a redraw to cater for many new events being needed to be advertised on the fron tof their website, so we created a solution to solve their problems.

Rochford Dental practice were looking for new staff and wanted Impact to deliver a recruiment advert for the British Dental Journal.

Impact Media F.C Tops Table

Being football fanatics - well James in particular. We decided to launch a 6-aside football team called…wait for it…Impact Media F.C!

We play every Monday night at Gloucester Park in Basildon and we had our first league game Monday just gone, and claimed victory!

Beating Chalkend 3-0! and now we are top of the very small table (by alphabetical order, mind you)

Hopefully next time we post we would be still topping the table, and as it is such a small league, the season should be over before we can blink!

Because we’re celebrating at the moment the Milky Bars are on us!

Happy New Year From Impact Media

Happy New Year and we hope you have enjoyed your short break from work and didn’t eat or drink too much.

Wow I can’t believe that 2008 is over, it went so fast and now we are already straight into 2009, like 2008 was just a dream.

But it wasn’t a dream at all, it was a depressing year for many with all the negative publicity the media gave about the recession and unemployment on the rise, 2008 might of been best as a dream.

But thinking forward we are now into a new year, a fresh start and the chance to fight off the bad omens of 2008. Welcome to 2009!

This year is sure to bring many businesses a chance to bounce back, and what a better time to start than January, starting the year as you mean to go on.

Whatever your plans for 2009, make sure your business has a solid marketing plan in place to keep your business in your prospect’s and client’s faces constantly. It will be another difficult year, but keeping your marketing active we’ll ensure that your business makes an impact and really gets itself noticed.
