Impact Launch CML Teaser Direct Mail Campaign

Impact have just launched a new direct mail campaign for the Council of Mortgage Lenders, to help promote the Mortgage Industry Conference & Exhibition in November.
The campaign features a series of eyes, and follows the theme ‘all eyes on us’ this relates to the constant monitoring of the mortgage industry by press, media and basically everyone else.
The theme will follow on two further direct mail pieces and once we have completed the campaign a case study will be posted on this blog.
The first mailer included a die cut a6 mailer which was sent out along with a coffee mug with interior digital print.

We have been busy lately working on a variety of projects. Currently we are creating a new identity for Greenwich PCT’s Community Health Trainers, along with associated marketing material.
We are also working on a new property portal creating the identity and the fully functional website which should be live by the end of March.
We have a few nice potential projects lined up (let’s see if we get them) and a few pieces which we’ll show you in pictures.
First up, we are developing a website for Essex bakers Grout’s and were asked to create a libary of images for their website and future marketing, which you will see below.
We have also created a microsite for the CML’s Sponsorship Opportunity packages.
Our client Football For Fans’s website has had a design makeover. After a couple of years the growing business required a redraw to cater for many new events being needed to be advertised on the fron tof their website, so we created a solution to solve their problems.

Rochford Dental practice were looking for new staff and wanted Impact to deliver a recruiment advert for the British Dental Journal.
Amby baby products also commissioned Impact to deliver a new set of advertisements for the many publications they currently advertise in.
Keeping ourselves rather busy, we have a few more projects still being worked on in the studio and as soon as they are complete will post them on our blog.
New CML Logo Launched

Impact have been working on a new identity for the Council Of Mortgage Lenders, and today we are proud to reveal the new company logo.
A spokesperson announced the new logo in their company newsletter to their members. “So why the new logo? Two reasons. First, to fit with the new clarity on our commercial products. And second, because the world has changed, and we and our members need to change with it”
Impact were given the freedom to create a fresh identity but it needed to resemble aspects of the previous logo, so we created the logo above, incorporating the circular shape which was the basis of the previous logo, we wanted to re-position the lettering and make a more bolder statement with the CML.
The colour palette hasn’t changed dramatically, blue is still the dominant colour withing the identity. We lost the dated coins from the previous logo but were asked to keep the house / arrow symbol which incorporated exceptionally well within this design and is the main characteristic which was kept from the previous design.
Along with the new logo Impact have also created new marketing material for their commercial brand and also all their internal marketing solutions and business stationery.
A more detailed case study will be added to our website in the new year.
Impact Win CML Pitch

Over the past couple of weeks we have been pitching along with 4 other design companies to win the Council of Mortgage Lenders account; and today we were given confirmation that Impact Media Design have been awarded the account.
We are looking forward to working with the CML and getting stuck into helping them achieve a fresh new look.
For 2009 the CML are looking to launch a fresh new identity throughout the company, we are set to re-design their existing company logo which has been with the company since their launch back in the 1990’s, a firm set of brand guidelines along with many other stationery and marketing requirements.
The CML are also looking at launching a new sub brand to promote their commercial services, training programmes, seminars, conferences, dinners and their annual conference.
Impact are set to complete this early December.
